Bluestar Silicones Announces a Price Increase for Most of its Silicone Product Range Effective in January 2011

LYON, France, November 30, 2010 - Due to continuous rising costs of raw materials (especially Silicon
Metal, Methanol ….) since mid 2010, and despite major on-going productivity
improvements achieved during the year to absorb these additional costs,
Bluestar Silicones will raise its Silicone product range prices by 5 to 10 %
in the course of January 2011.
