World Childhood Foundation Launches National Radio Campaign on SIRIUS XM

NEW YORK, October 11, 2010 - World Childhood Foundation USA, a non-profit organization founded in 1999
by H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden, together with SIRIUS XM Radio, is pleased to
announce the launch of a national radio campaign featuring public service
announcements (PSAs) to be aired starting this month. A wide variety of
notable figures from the worlds of media, entertainment and sports with
connections to Sweden have lent their voices to the campaign in support of
Childhood's global commitment to prevent abuse and exploitation of children.
Music icons Frida and Bjorn Ulvaeus from ABBA, and Per Gessle and Marie
Fredriksson from Roxette; award-winning director Lasse Hallstrom;
internationally acclaimed actresses Lena Olin and Isabella Rossellini; Henrik
Lundqvist, All-Star goalie for the NHL's New York Rangers; world-renowned
chef Marcus Samuelsson, chef/owner of New York City's forthcoming Red Rooster
Harlem and winner of Top Chef Masters and professional golfer Jesper Parnevik
can be heard in 30-second spots that highlight Childhood's mission. The PSAs
are airing across numerous SIRIUS XM channels, including Martha Stewart
Living Radio, Oprah Radio, Cosmo Radio, Doctor Radio, The Catholic Channel,
SIRIUS Left, SIRIUS XM Book Radio and ESPN.

Sweden will attend a cocktail reception in honor of the campaign at SIRIUS
XM's New York City headquarters on Tuesday, October 12.
World Childhood Foundation is dedicated to serving the most vulnerable
children worldwide, especially those who are victims of sexual abuse and
exploitation. Special attention is given to girls and young mothers. Since
its inception, Childhood has granted almost 50 million US dollars to more
than 500 projects worldwide, and currently supports over 115 programs in 16
countries including Belarus, Brazil, Estonia, Cambodia, China, Latvia,
Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Sweden, South Africa, Thailand, Germany,
Ukraine and the United States.
